Getting more out of it
Once the basics feel natural, here is how to get noticeably better results. None of this is required. All of it helps.
- •Give it something to work with. It is strongest when your rough prompt names the thing you actually care about. "write a sales page, the guarantee is the strongest part" beats "write a sales page," because that detail is yours, and yours is the only kind the product will not invent.
- •Answer the clarify questions honestly, not perfectly. A two second honest answer beats a careful non answer. If no option fits, type your own.
- •Read the "what I sharpened" note. It is the fastest way to learn what a good prompt contains. Over a few weeks you will internalize the moves, and your own raw prompts will get better on their own.
- •Use undo without guilt. If a rewrite went sideways, undo and try again with one extra word of steering. Treat it like a sparring partner, not an oracle.
- •Set a brand voice if you write in one consistently. Set it once on the dashboard and the finished prompt sounds like you, including the words you never want to see in it.
- •Read the preview before you press Build. It tells you what the Amplifier thinks you want and what it is about to ask for. Correcting it is the cheapest, highest leverage thing you can do, because the correction binds and everything downstream follows it.
- •Match the site to the task. The Amplifier works the same across every supported AI chat, so use whichever model you prefer. The amplified prompt is portable; you can even amplify on one and paste into another.
- •Keep your best prompts. Signed in, your history becomes a personal library of what worked, worth reusing and adapting rather than rebuilding.
